Cannabis Crop Problems And Cures

Anytime a grower plants a cannabis crop it is possible that there will be growing problems and some have distinct signs and there are reasons why the plants show these signs and ways to cure them of the problem.

One of the signs is when the larger leaves turn yellow and the smaller leaves are still green, this is usually a sign that there is a nitrogen deficiency. To cure the marijuana plant that has a nitrogen deficiency, adding nitrate of soda or an organic fertilizer will in most cases cure this problem.

Another problem that can occur is the older leaves curling at the edges, turning dark and sometimes having a purple cast. In most cases this is a phosphorus deficiency, a commercial phosphate can be added to the soil. The leaves turning yellow and spotted, along with the edges turning dark gray is also a phosphorus deficiency.

When mature leaves have a yellowish cast that reaches near the venial areas, this is a magnesium deficiency and can be corrected with a fertilizer that has magnesium content in it.

If the small leaves become wrinkled in appearance and have yellowish colored vein systems, this means they are lacking zinc. Correct this problem by adding a plant food that contains zinc.

When young leaves are deformed and sometimes yellow, this is the sign of a molybdenum deficiency and to correct it using a plant food with molybdenum in it can correct this problem with the cannabis plant.

When the marijuana plants have cracked stems this is the sign of boron missing in the plants, adding plant food with boron will help this problem.
