Hydroponics Grow Rate

The successful hydroponics gardener will find that it is not uncommon to see growth rates in pot plants as much as 1 inch 2 inches a day during their vegetative growth phase. The reason for this is because there is no soil; the only thing that is used in hydroponics is a medium for the roots to attach themselves to.

The indoor hydroponics pot garden is planted where the seedlings should be grown between eight and 16 inches apart and if it is a bushy strain of seeds it will require more space. The bushy marijuana plants will also provide a much larger yield at harvest time than a slender strain of seeds. This is because unless the grower plans on harvesting the plants early the root base will need room to grow.

The opening for the roots for each of the pot plants should be approximately 3 inches in diameter or larger and this can accommodate a plant that can produce as much as a half ounce or more of pot when harvested.

This is a much faster grow rate than will be found in the indoor crop of pot planted in soil and also allows for the plants to be more potent because they are not spending the extra time growing or searching for nutrients in the soil.

The harvest amount is also much larger in the hydroponic garden of verses the soil garden when pot is being grown.
