What Is Hashish And Where Does It Come From

There many parts of the cannabis plant that growers enjoy for obtaining a high and there is one more part of this plant that is used by many people and that is the concentrated resin that is known as hashish and informally known as hash.

The hashish that is found on the marijuana plant on the trichomes or find outgrowths that produce a sticky resin, this resin is an odor of protection for the plants. The plants produce the resin in order to protect them selves from bugs or insects that would damage them, instead there are drawn to the resin where they would be trapped.

On the female plant the trichomes highly concentrated source of THC and when smoked produce a potent high. This is why some people also collect the hash from the plants that they grow and not only concentrate their energy on the buds of the female plant.

While hashish is a collective from a part of the natural occurring growth cycle of the marijuana plants, there are some strains of cannabis that are specifically genetically engineered to produce larger amounts of trichomes. These contain a larger of the potent amounts of THC so they can be collected as hashish specifically.

Only a few growers actually concentrate their energy on collecting the hash from their cannabis crop and concentrate more on the buds. When it's a hydroponic crop it is the plants are more potent and that would mean THC concentration that would be contained in the trichomes would be even a more potent form of hashish.
