Harvest The House Cannabis Crop Year Round
When the cannabis crop is cared for in a certain way then there is the possibility of it being harvested as many as six times a year. The cannabis can be forced to start flowering once it is 5 to 15inches high, this is done by reducing the amount of light to between 10 and 13 hours at a time, then there should be darkness that is not interrupted by any light, not even dim light. Doing this will force the cannabis plants to begin flowering and the plants will be ready for harvest within about 60 days.
Using clones rather than germinating seeds can also save as much as a weeks time each time a crop or plant is started, this is because the clone is an existing part of the plant and does not need to begin as just a root emerging from a cracked seed.
It is possible to assist the plants in growing to maturity faster, by creating a better ventilation system and in doing so being able to move the lights closer to the plants without risking burning any of the leaves. This is done by cutting a hole in one side of the grow room and installing a blower, that will help the fan or the air conditioner to exchange the air in the room continuously.
These are some of the methods that are used in speeding up the crop and with the harvesting of one crop the next one can be started, allowing as many as six crops a year when grown indoors in soil or with hydroponics.
