What Is Needed For The Hydroponics Setup

When growing marijuana with hydroponics there is no soil used, instead pearlite, rockwool or vermiculite is used as a growing medium, this increases the drainage and is not hinder the nutrients that soil would.

One of the most common ways to set up a hydroponics cannabis garden is to use a reservoir, which is set below the bottoms of pots. This reservoir is mixed with the nutrients that are needed by the pot plants to grow. These nutrients are fed to the plants using tubing and a pump from an aquarium. The aquarium pump is connected to a timer that will turn on and off approximately six times a day, watering the plants for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Since the median the plants are in drains quickly the plants do not get over watered and the excess water drains back into the reservoir through the plastic tubing.

When setting up a hydroponics garden, the vigorous grower attaches a tube that is positioned on the roots. This will speed up the growth of the plants and it will also ensure the plants each get the amount of nutrients they need to grow to their full potential. This is why hydroponics crops of cannabis are usually some of the best pot harvested. This is because they are getting exactly what they need many times a day rather than the soil type of gardens that are dependent on the water leaching through the soil to the roots.
