Moonlight and Flowering
When growing the indoor, hydroponics garden the strongest light that should reach the plants during the dark period of flowering should not be any stronger than, than plants that are planted outdoors would receive. That should only be for short amounts of time, because longer amount of this light will disturb the flowering. Then there is a chance if it continues the plants will not flower, but rather stay in the vegetative state.
This is most important during the first four weeks of flowering and once the plants have flowered for over a month short amounts of light during the dark period will not be as harmful to the plants, and will not put them in a vegetative state.
It is during this time of darkness that the cannabis growing room should receive no sunlight or light from artificial lighting. The plants should get a strict 12 hours of darkness per day every day. If this is not adhered to it will delay the flowering.
The key to perfect hydroponics gardening of marijuana plants will include the strict adherence to darkness during flowering, because even though the plants are larger, stronger and will be more potent they still need to enter the flowering state and not stay in the vegetative state.
As every grower knows the most important part of the cannabis plants is the buds and the 12 hours of darkness. The occasional moonlight of the indoor lighting system is just as important for the harvested crop.
