What Happens If There Is Too Much Hydroponics Nutrient Solution

When using hydroponics as a means for growing the marijuana crop during their different growth cycles it is possible to give them to rich of a nutrient mixture. When they are seedlings and during flowering it is possible to give the crop to rich of a nutrient mixture just by following the manufacturers directions.

It is also not wise to give the plants extra nutrients with the thought that it will help the plants to grow faster, what it can do is kill the marijuana crop. A good rule of thumb when mixing the hydroponics nutrient solution is less is better. While fewer nutrients can make the plants take longer to mature and able to be harvested they will not die from being over neutralized.

When growing the marijuana crop using hydroponics the nutrient solution will need to be changed every two weeks in order to give the crop what it needs and at the same time not over do the mixture. The old solution should be discarded and replaced with the new mixture, not added to the remaining mixture.

The hydroponics nutrient solution mixture or the nutrient mixture for the indoor crop should be mixed half strength during the time of growth when the marijuana plants are seedlings and when they are flowering. Over doing the nutrient mixture or even mixing it full strength when the plants are seedlings can kill them. When flowering if the nutrient mixture is to strong it can kill the buds and flowers during the first two weeks.
