Growing Marijuana Outdoors
Growing marijuana outdoors does not have the same requirements as growing indoor crops; this is because they have fresh air and natural sunlight. There are some things that should be followed to have a healthy growing crop, when planting the seeds the grower must be certain the last frost is over. If there is a frost the plants or seedlings will wither and die. The seedlings or plants can be planted in many areas in April or early May, depending on the frost table.
The plants should also be planted where they will receive a full eight hours of sunlight, this will also need to be an area that is secluded since it is not legal to grow the plants and from other people that will watch the crop until it is ready to be harvested. The outdoor marijuana crop must be kept as secret as the indoor crop for various reasons and because the crop is growing outdoors in its natural habitat it will need less care. The indoor crops requires constant care, lighting, nutrients and water, all which the outdoor crop will receive naturally. That is an advantage since this crop must be hidden in an out of the way spot to avoid detection.
It also will need to be a location that will be hidden for the entire growing season and still receive the proper amount of light that is needed by the cannabis plants. This needs to be considered as trees and other plants will grow their foliage. |
