Planting Seeds Outdoors
There are two schools of thought when planting, one idea is to start the seedlings indoors for the first two weeks and the second is to plant directly in the ground. The cannabis grower and where their location is can decide this. If it is an area that has a cold winter most plants started from seed are begun in the house to have a jump on the short growing season. In warmer climates the ground is warmer and the growing season longer.
This is up to the cannabis growers discretion, there is also the problem of planting seeds directly in the ground that bugs in the dirt can damage the seeds leaving them useless for growing. This is also true of the small seedling, however it will stand a better chance then the seed that is buried a quarter of an inch under the soil.
To plant the seeds outdoors, the dirt will need to be prepared, it will need to be well draining yet when compacted in the hand it should hold together and break apart easily.
The soil is important in order to have a good crop, just as water will be, if there is a dry spell then it might be necessary to take water to the plants. In most cases this will not occur, but it is possible if it is a dry growing season that it will take extra effort from the outdoor grower.
