Transplanting
Transplanting the indoor marijuana plant is much like transplanting any other type of houseplant; the pot should be clean of any debris and should be sterilized to protect the plant from disease or bugs.
When using a pot that has been planted in before the container should be thoroughly washed, so that it if there is any type of debris it will be cleaned out.
Once the soil is properly mixed and the container is ready, the soil should partially be filled into the container in preparation. The seedling should be carefully removed from its current container and settled into the soil that is partially filled in the new container. Then more soil should be filled around it and gently patted with the hands to ensure that the plant is securely in the dirt and able to stand on its own.
The soil should then be thoroughly soaked with water to provide the roots and plant in its new home to adapt.
It is not unusual for a newly transplanted marijuana plant to have leaves that droop and a stem it becomes less rigid for the first few days after being transplanted. The reason for this is when transplanting any type of plant, the plant is still going to be in a type of mild shock and within a few days the plant will begin to perk back up.
